The 101^st annual session of the South Mississippi Baptist State Convention and Ministries was held at Sophia Sutton Mission Assembly. The two-day event was educational and very inspiring. There were high school students who were great speakers. We are thankful to the Lord for his blessing upon them.

Our VBS was an outstanding event. Martiza Johnson was the director and we thank God for her special service toward others.

On Saturday, Nellie Newsome, Mary Lois Walker, Edna White and some youth attended the event at Out Reach Fellowship Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Jessie James Holloway.

Birthday greetings go out to the following: Etta Jackson, Elder Sylvester Holloway, Eloise Hall Holloway, Larry Bullock, Derry Durr, Justice M. Reese and Johnny Louis Walker. We pray that each of you celebrate many happier birthdays.

We are asking prayers for: Alice Pearl White, she is in the hospital in Prentiss and Almenda Williams.
