Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Terence Calvert Taylor, 42, who died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS.  Elder James Harrell officiated with interment following in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Citronelle, AL.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Terence Taylor was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late George C. Taylor and Mrs. Ruthie Taylor.  He was raised in Chicago where he attended Clodile Grammar School and graduated from Harlan Community Academy High School in 1993.  He later attended classes at Lincoln Technical School for auto mechanics.  He relocated to Prentiss, Mississippi in April of 2008.

He re-dedicated his life to Christ under the pastorate of Elder James Harrell of Zion Hill Church of God in Christ.

He was preceded in death sister, Tresa Taylor and his grandmothers, Bernice Turner and Cora Hawkins.

Mr. Taylor is survived by: mother, Ruthie Taylor of Prentiss, MS; daughter, Raven Taylor of Chicago, IL; brother, Eric Anderson; sister, Erica Anderson both of Chicago, IL; sister, Chandra (Richard) Slaughter of Detroit, MI; fourteen aunts.four uncles; two special friends, Mother Maxine McGee and Mama Queen; many other relatives and friends.
