MT. ZION NEWS BY BEA WARD

On Sunday, we had a wonderful Annual Men’s Day/Brotherhood Program. The theme was “Wise Men Worshipping and Following Jesus Christ.”

The guest speaker was Dr. Samuel Jones of Ellisville, MS, and he was accompanied by his wife Sarah. His sub-topic was: “There is work to be done.” Dr. Jones is with the Department of Student Affairs at Jones Community College and Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church in Richton, MS.

We are very thankful to God, because it was a very inspirational message.

Birthday greetings goes out to followings: Terri Hawthorn, Joan London Fairley, Ashley Rhodes, Nyquisha Brown, and Jocelyn Ragsdale.

We were blessed to see Barbara Holloway in worship service on Sunday, she is among the shut ins.

Alameda Williams is out of the hospital, she is home recovering.

Rachel Woodard and Bill Pace are in the hospital in Hattiesburg let us keep them in prayer.
