Funeral Services were held Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Evelyn Jones, age 93, who passed away on June 25, 2016 at her residence. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Ben James officiated. Pallbearers were: Taylor Collins, Patrick Jones, Barrett Jones, Clint Langley, Frank Collins and Ronald Jones. Honorary Bearers were: Buster Miller and Truitt Hall.

Mrs. Evelyn was born January 31, 1923 in Lawrence County, MS to Mr. Homer Hedgepeth and Eloise Daniels Hedgepeth. She was a homemaker and a member of Prentiss Baptist Church and loved singing in the Choir. She was also a member of the Lions Club for many years.

She is survived by her son, Percy Jones (Gayle) of Dahlonega, GA; her daughter, Sherry Collins of Ridgeland, MS; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
