I’m back!!! Hello from Pastor Rogers and the entire Church family.

Glad to be back, but had a great trip to Japan. We enjoyed our stay with our daughter, Clintnecha, her husband, DeMarco, grand-daughter, Ariana and the new addition to the family, little DeMarco Walker Brayboy.  He made his arrival on May 21, 2016. Left the family doing fine. We thank God for a safe trip to and from Japan.
The General Bapt. Women’s Quarterly Institue was held at our Church on Saturday at 10:00a.m where Rev. Jerry Rogers is Pastor and Moderator.

The session was spirit-filled. Hats off to Rev. Henry Kelly for bringing his Youth to the session. He’s the Pastor of St. Paul Bapt. Church in Bassfield.  Thank you.

Pastor Rogers came with the Word from on high. Scripture text: Mark 10:17-22 Text words: “Coming to Grips with Life”.

On this Christian journey you will be faced with obstacles, but He is always with you.

Rev. Rogers took us to the cross. We know the story. Jesus died but in three days He rose with all power in His hands. Doors of the Church was opened with the son “I will trust in the Lord”.

Pastor and Deacons prepared for Communion. We were dismissed. Glad to have David Magee, Sr. as part of our service. He is the son of Dec. A.G. Magee and Mrs. Vernell Magee. Happy belated birthday to Mrs. Versie Johnson. She celebrated her birthday on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Mrs. Ruby Walker was all smiles as her son, Chris Walker was in attendance.
