Funeral services were held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, Silver Creek, MS for Mrs. Agnes May, age 83, who passed away July 1, 2016 in Pineville, North Carolina.  Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery.  Saulters- Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS handled arrangements.

Rev. Sonny Adkins officiated.  Pallbearers were Michael Harvey, Jimmy Jones, Kevin Hartzog,  Ryan Dingler, Michael May, and Greg Hartzog.

Mrs. Agnes May was born in New Hebron, MS on September 29, 1932 to Oscar T. and Maude Cox Harvey.  She was a lifelong resident of Silver Creek, MS. She retired after working 37 years as a Bank Teller for First Bank of Silver Creek and Monticello. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Phillip May of Silver Creek, MS;  two daughters: Twyla Thrash of Hendersonville, NC, and Tammy May of Alexandria, VA;  one sister, Meta Shoemaker of Memphis, TN and  one granddaughter, Reagan Thrash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Phillip May, three sisters, and two brothers.
