Funeral services were held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Lake Terrace Convention Center, Hattiesburg, Mississippi for Mr. Fredrinick Quintez Barnes, 37, who died Friday, July 15, 2016, at Wesley Medical Center, Hattiesburg, MS. Rev. Henry McCullum officiated with interment following in the Wheeler Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fredrinick Barnes was born to Ola Heidelberg and Warren Magee, Jr. in Hattiesburg. He spent his childhood in Bassfield, where he attended and graduated from Bassfield High School in 1996.
He joined St. Paul M. B. Church, Bassfield, Mississippi at an early age. He served in the United States Air Force. In 2003, he joined the family of the Hattiesburg Lake Terrace Convention Center as the Events Set Up Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Erik T. McArthur; sister, Sharon A. Magee; grandmother, Mattie Magee; grandfather, Warren Magee, Sr.; special aunt, Elizabeth McCullum; special uncle, Howard Pitts.
He is survived by: fiance, Jessica “Queen” Price of Hattiesburg; mother and stepfather, Ola (Derrick) Heidielberg of Petal; father, Warren Magee, Jr. of Bassfield; brothers, D’Antonio (Chantel) Booth of Fayetteville, NC, Warren Magee, III, Carlton Magee and Brandon Moore of Bassfield, Christopher McClendon of Prentiss, and Daron Magee of Angie, LA; sister, Kristin Russell of Columbia; grandmother, Colleen Pitts of Bassfield; special Godson, Markell McKines of Hattiesburg; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
