Funeral Services were held Saturday August 13, 2016 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mildred L. Mikell, age 90, who passed away on August 8, 2016 at her residence in Tulsa, OK. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Sessions Polk Officiated. Pall bearers were: Tyler Leonard, Erik Herron, Chad Mikell, Jimmy McPhail, Ricky McPhail and Alex Leonard.

Mrs. Mildred was born January 8, 1926 in Bassfield, MS to Mr. Walton McPhail and Essie Bullock McPhail. She graduated from Memphis Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered nurse. Most of her nursing career took place in Baton Rouge, LA for Dr. Richard Hill. She was also very active in the school system. She was a member of Prentiss United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Alan Mikell (Ginger) of Tulsa OK. Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
