Funeral services were held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Ratrick Venna Myers, 48, who died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.  Rev. Linda Loftin officiated with interment following in the Walter Springs Cemetery, Prentiss, MS.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ratrick V. Myers was born in Laurel, Mississippi to Mrs. Patricia Williams.  He attended Mt. Olive C.M.E. Church. Mr. Myers was a 1985 graduate of Prentiss High School and attended Alcorn State University.  He served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by: grandmother, Eloise Wells, grandfather, Fred Fairley

He is survived by: mother, Patricia Williams; father, John Edward Rhodes; brothers, Rodale Hall, Charles Otis (godbrother), daugther, M’khenzie Rankin; paternal sister, Trinia Myers Wolfe and paternal brothers, Cliff Warner, Johnny Rhodes and Kelvin Rhodes; 2 granchildren, Jaylin and Zyon Rankin; god mothers, Mary Hall and Elsie Rhodes; god fathers, Robert Earl Hall and Al Winston Williams; many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
