Memorial services were held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Acie Coy McClendon, 62, who died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS.  Rev. Aaron Thompson officiated.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Acie Coy McClendon was born to the late Coy and Willie Mae McClendon.  He attended New Zion M. B. Church and worked as a laborer.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Smith.

He is survived by: sister, Voncile Oatis of Prentiss, MS; son, Kristain McClendon of Oakvale, MS; brother-in-law, Mathlee Smith of Prentiss, MS.
