Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at South Pleasant Hill M. B. Church for Mr. Willie Earl Hubbard, 52, who died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, at his residence.  Rev. Robert Collins, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Willie Earl Hubbard was born to the late Mydonia and the late Billie Hubbard. He joined South Pleasant Hill M. B. Church at an early age. He later attended Word Fellowship Baptist Church. He was married to the late Barbara G. Ferrell.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Amelia Hubbard.

He is survived by five siblings, Joyce McCornell of Hattiesburg,  Barbara Hubbard of Prentiss, Larry (Bartinna) Hubbard of Hattiesburg, Robert Hubbard of Hattiesburg, two nieces, three nephews, nine aunts, three uncles, one great-aunt, and many other relatives and friends.
