Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Judith Ann “Judy” Dyess, 61, of Carson,  who passed away Jan. 17, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.  Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery.

Bro. Mike Mitchell officiated. Pallbearers were Hunter Dyess, Sean Morris, Dennis Daley, Pete Stevens, Jason King, Jimmy Butler, David Freshour and Lewis Burrow. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled all arrangements.

Mrs. Judy was born December 31, 1955, in Prentiss.  She was the daughter of Sambo King and Martha Lee Hudson King. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Mrs. Judy is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Carl “Buck” Dyess of Carson;  two daughters, Jennifer Lewis of Prentiss and Jammie Daley (Dennis) of Bassfield; her son, James Anthony Dyess of Poplarville; two brothers, Willie Ray King of Jayess and Mike King of Pinola and three grandchildren.
