Funeral Services for Willie Faye Griffith were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home. Mrs. Griffith, 95, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, in Prentiss. TheRev. Charles Burnham will officiate and interment will follow in the Whitesand Baptist Church Cemetery.

Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was charge of arrangements.   

Willie Faye McLaurin Griffith was born on Jan. 2, 1922, in Smith County to William T. McLaurin and Nola Sullivan McLaurin. Mrs. Griffith was a homemaker and was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church.

Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband Clarence Griffith; one son, Harry McLaurin; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Griffith and Bobby Griffith, both of Prentiss; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Nagy of Petal; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
