Funeral services were held on Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Outreach Fellowship Revival Center for Mrs. Lisa M. Jones Reese, 44. Pastor Jessie James Holloway officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Church cemetery. Laird Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Reese died Sunday evening April 16, 2017, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Mrs. Reese was the daughter of Eddie Butler, Jr. and the late Melissa Fay Keys. She was raised by Sylvester Keys and Melissa Fay Keys in rural Lawrence County. She graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1990. After high school, Mrs. Reese attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College where she double majored in computer science and business technology. Mrs. Reese worked various jobs during her life, in addition to being a mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Reese’s survivors include three daughters, Da’Niquwka (Matthew) Polk, Ty’jhalia (Lachristopher) Williams, and Aalyssa Reese; two sons Dedric Reese and Jonathan Wilson; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
