Funeral services were held Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Mt. Carmel COGIC for Mr. Herman Holloway, Jr., 76, who died Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg.  Pastor Gray officiated with burial following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Holloway was the son of the late Sally Steele and Herman Holloway, Sr.

He is survived by: wife, Dewyne Holloway; children, Jean Holloway, Bunny Holloway, Herman Holloway, Jr., Christopher Holloway, Virginia Holloway, Marilyn Brown, Kermit Gray and Vivian Strickland; sister, Pearlie Allen, brothers, Thomas and Robert Steele.
