The Beta Clubs of J.E. Johnson Elementary and Prentiss High School sponsored a Tornado Relief Drive to help citizens of Durant,  who were heavily impacted by the tornado that ripped through their city on April 30, 2017. A plethora of supplies were hand delivered by the Beta Club students and J.E. Johnson’s principal, Carrie Hammond-Walker. Walker encouraged the students to give back to their communities during this effort. “It’s always better to give than to receive,” stated Walker.
