Funeral Services for Mr. Harmon Dyess were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dyess, age 76, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, in Hattiesburg. Brother Everett Broome officiated and burial was in the Dublin Cemetery.

Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Harmon Allen Dyess was born on April 8, 1941, to Bob Dyess and Hattie Mae Dyess. He was a retired seamer at the parachute factory where he worked for 20 years.

Mr. Dyess was preceded in death by his mother and father; one sister, and two brothers.

Survivors are his wife Gladys Dyess of Prentiss; one daughter, Kayle Romero of Morgantown; two sons, Scott Dyess and Allen Dyess of Columbia; four sisters, Martha Lemoyne of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Agnes Gilbert of Prentiss, Jean Lembeck of Port Allen, Texas, and Bobbie Sue Stiglett of Denham Springs, Louisiana; two brothers, Ralph Dyess of Utah and Tray Dyess of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; as well as a host of other family and friends.
