Funeral services for Neal Magee were held May 27, 2017, at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss. Mr. Magee, 86, died May 24, 2017, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall.

Rev. Terry Wallace officiated. Pallbearers were: Jeremy Buckley, Joseph Buckley, Josh Buckley, James Aultman, Austin McInnis and Allister McInnis.

Honorary pallbearer was Aaron McInnis. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Neal Magee was born on April 9, 1931, in Prentiss to Horace Lafatte Magee and Mary Florence Smith Magee.  He served his country as a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a cattle farmer and worked in the heating and air industry for several years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an avid fisherman and hunter.

Mr. Magee was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one daughter; one grandchild and seven brothers.

He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Spears of Mendenhall; two sons, Dino Magee of Prentiss and Gary Magee of Mt. View, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
