Funeral services were held May 27, 2017, at Sweetwater C.M.E. Church for Mrs. Joyce Inez Campbell, 75, who died May 17, 2017, at her residence.  Rev. Reggie Russell officiated with interment following in the church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Campbell was born to the late Elijah and Era Mae Russell Carter in Bassfield.  She was a member of Morning Star M. B. Church, Columbia. Mrs. Campbell was working at Carter’s Cleaners where she enjoyed ministering to the community.

She is survived by: three children, Kelvin (Cynthia) Russell, Denise (Jimmy) Hardaway and Andre’ Russell; five grandchildren; one sister, Vera Thompson and many other relatives and friends.
