Funeral services were held May 27, 2017, at China Lee M. B. Church, Silver Creek for Mr. Norman “Worm” Williams, 50, who died May 19, 2017, at Lawrence County Hospital, in Monticello.  Rev. E. J. Earl officiated with burial following in the church cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Norman Williams was born to the late Macon and Emma Lee  Williams in Silver Creek.  He was a member of China Lee M. B. Church and was employed at Joe Miles Lumber for over 20 years until his health failed.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia Williams; brother, Macon Williams, Jr.; two sisters, Dianne (Shirley) Evans; Ciggy Perkins; four stepchildren; eight grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
