Graveside services were held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2:30 pm at New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron for Lanelle Berry Fortenberry.  Visitation was Monday, June 5, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.  Saulters Moore was in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Fortenberry was born and raised in New Hebron, she moved to Jackson where she raised her family and lived for 62 years. She passed away peacefully on June 2, 2017.

Lanelle was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Hershel Fortenberry; parents, Cloma and Mary Berry; brothers, Howard Berry and Virgil Berry.

Lanelle was a loving mother to; Kay (Greg deceased) Brody, Mike (Melinda) Fortenberry; cherished grandmother to, Lauren Brody (Zac) Terrill and Mike Ryan (Brooke) Brody and friend to many.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Blake of Flowood,  for their loving care and Shonda Banks for the care and support.
