Funeral services for Mrs. Selida Jean Barrett were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss.  “Tuttie”, age 58, died Saturday, June 24, 2017, at her residence in Carson.

Reverend Steve Graves officiated. Burial followed in Greens Creek Cemetery in Carson.  Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Pallbearers were:  Randy Dyess, Roland Dyess, Hoss Kirkley, Jamie Barrett, Adrian Anglin and Byron Givens. Honorary pallbearers were: Ricky Barrett and Mack Fuller

“Tuttie” first worked in the electrical assembly department and then in retail for the last few years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Dyess of Carson; One step-daughter; Katelyn Anglin of Brookhaven; one granddaughter, Parker Teasley of Brookhaven; one sister; Sharon Barrett of Lumberton; three brothers; Wallace Pearson of Columbia, Tony Pearson of St. Louis, Missouri and James Dale Slade of Lumberton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Charles Wayne Pearson and Bobby Doyle Pearson.
