Funeral services were held Saturday, June 24, 2017, at New Life Church of God in Christ for baby Micah Jaiden Lewis Alford, 5 months, who died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Minister Jerry Ann Wheaton officiated with interment following in Green Grove M. B. Church cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Baby Micah was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Mr. Micheal and Dr. Jamesia Showers Alford.

Baby Micah touched many lives during his short stay on earth.

He is survived by his  parents, brother, Noah Alford; grandparents, Ruth Williams, James Showers Sr., Rose and Rickey Johnson and Joe Banks,  great-grandparents, Katherine Williams, Nellie Walker, Robert E. Alford, and Steve Banks and many other relatives and friends.
