Hilda R. Roberts, 91, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Prentiss, died on July 28, 2017. Visitation was Monday, July 31, 2017, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss from 1 p.m. until the service at 2:30 p.m. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Simpson County.

Hilda was born Dec. 14, 1925. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and a longtime member of Prentiss Baptist Church. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Delma J. Roberts; her parents, Rudolph and Irene Jones; and her brother, James Harold Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy G. Roberts of Pascagoula; her son, Victor J. Roberts (Kathy) of Hattiesburg; her granddaughter, Lauren R. Cappaert (Brent) of Vicksburg; great-grandson, Graham Roberts Cappaert; great-granddaughter, Frances Kathleen Cappaert; three sisters, Margie L. Weaver of Magee, Fannie M. Smith of New Hebron and Shirley A. Warren (Gary) of Clinton; and sister-in-law, Faye Jones of Terry.

Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.
