Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bassfield for Mr. Patrick J. Morgan, 48, of Bassfield, who died Aug. 31, 2017. Interment followed at St. James Catholic Cemetery.

Father Peter Kmiecik officiated. Pallbearers were: Joel Daley, Jacob Daley, Michael Daley, Brandon Dyess, Ralph Hanegan and Alfred Hanegan.

Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss  handled all arrangements.

Mr. Morgan was born June 10, 1969, in Prentiss. He was the son of James Morgan and Magdaline Daley Morgan. He was a carpenter in the construction industry.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Janice Morgan of Benton, Tennessee; his son, Patrick John Morgan, Jr. of Benton, Tennessee; two daughters, Samantha Morgan of Prentiss and Anna Quirk of Slidell, Louisiana; three brothers, Nicholas Morgan and James Morgan both of League City, Texas and Adrien Daley of Laurel.
