Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Friendship M. B. Church, Collins, for Mrs. Arlena Booth Price, 94, who died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Asbury Hospice, Hattiesburg. Rev. Randy Miller officiated with burial following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Arlena Booth Price was born to the late Leander and George Booth. She was a member of Friendship M. B. Church.  She attended ASU College for one year and later married Leo Price and to this union, four children were born.

She worked at Collinswood Poultry and later retired.

She was preceded in death by: two sisters, two brothers, a daughter and a son.

She is survived by: two daughters, Lena Carter and Mary Obanion both of Collins; two sisters, Georgia McLaurin and Mary Crosby both of Erie, Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
