Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pot” Dean, 57, who died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Rev. Jessie Holloway officiated with burial following in the Griffith Cemetery, Prentiss. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Patricia Ann Dean was born to the late Lillie Ree and Jimmy Dean, Sr. in Jefferson Davis County. She was raised by her aunt, Elaine Washington, after her mother passed. She attended school in Jefferson Davis and later completed her education in Upward Bound Program at Prentiss Normal and Industrial Institute.

She worked at KLH Industries and later moved to Greenville, where she met and married Terry Wilson, Sr. and two sons were born, Terry, Jr. and Henry Wilson.

She was preceded in death by a sister Maxine Dean.

She is survived by: three sons, Christopher (Denise) Dean, Terry Wilson, Jr. and Henry Wilson all of Leesville, Louisiana; two brothers, Charles Dean of Detroit, Michigan and Jimmy Dean, Jr. of Prentiss; the aunt who raised her, Elaine Washington of Prentiss; three uncles, Robert (Minnie) Hooker of Jackson and Henry Hooker and Hollie Hooker both of Prentiss; nine grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
