Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Holly Springs C.M.E. Church, Bassfield, for Miss Rhonda Danielle Reese, 36, who died Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Elder Eddie Dixon, pastor, officiated with burial following in the Reese Cemetery, Bassfield. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Rhonda Reese was born to Diane and Johnny C. Reese, Sr. in Prentiss. She was a 2000 graduate of Bassfield High School. She was a member of Holly Springs C.M.E. Church. She worked in many capacities.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Mario Graves.

She is survived by: one daughter, Ta’Leah Reese; mother, Diane Govan; father, Johnny C. Reese, Sr., stepfather, Berry Govan; natural father, Willie C. Thompson; two sisters, Venitia Peters and Ashley Reese; six brothers, Broderick (Sonya) Peters, Gerobe (Yashica) Peters, Rodney (Pamela) Reese, Darly Lilly, Johnny C. Reese, Jr., and Jermaine Reese; grandmother, Lovie Grubbs; and many other relatives and friends.
