Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at Willis C. Graves Multi-Purpose Building, Bassfield for Miss Da’Quandra Chaniya Rodsha Ellarika Booth, 14, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, in Jefferson Davis County.

Rev. Charles Holbrook officiated with burial following in the Booth Cemetery, Bassfield. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Da’Quandra Booth was born to Mr. Demarrio and Mrs. Cheoka Booth.

She was an active member of Sweetwater C.M.E. Church.  She was a student at Jefferson Davis County School where she was an active cheerleader, Beta gymnastics, girl scouts, youth choir, CYL and student council. Her hobbies were dancing, shopping, music, traveling and being on her cell phone. Her dream was to pursue a degree in Engineering.

She was preceded in death by her uncle Rodrick Booth.

She is survived by her parents, Demarrio and Cheoka Booth of Bassfield; brother, Demarrio Booth, Jr. of Bassfield; grandparents, Bobbie Ann Hathorn of Bassfield; Jacqualin Coleman of Prentiss, James M. (Leshia) Graves of Bassfield; Ricky (Tina) Harper of Oakvale; great-grandparents, Evelyn Hill, Thornell Coleman both of Prentiss; Charles (Lois) Graves and Joyce Harper all of Bassfield; and many other relatives and friends.
