Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at New Zion M.B. Church, Oakvale for Mr. Enoch Bourne, 84, who died Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Rev. F. S. Barnes officiated with burial following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Enoch Bourne was born to the late Rachel Ward Barnes and Almos Barnes. He joined New Zion M. B. Church and remained a member until he moved to Ferrell, Pennsylvania. He worked at National Casting Steel Mill. He was married to Mrs. Dorothy Cameron Barnes and to this union one son was added.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Veronica Williams of California and six siblings, Mary L. McClendon, Almas Barnes, Jr., Emagene Smith, I. J. Barnes, Clarence Barnes and Leaman Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Barnes of Ferrell, Pennsylvania; son, Michael Williams of Jackson; four siblings, Helen Turner, Annette Barnes and Lynette (Alvin) Jackson all  of Alta Dena, California and Robert (Mildred) Barnes of Lawrenceville, Virginia.
