Harold Dean Stringer, 86, of Silver Creek died Wednesday, Jan 10, 2018, at Covington County Hospital in Collins. He was born Saturday, July 4, 1931.

Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Bro. Michael Giles officiated and burial followed in the Waco-Fairmount Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Juanice Stringer; parents, Virgil and Etta Stringer; and a brother, Tommy Stringer.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Champion (Jeff); son, Dwayne Stringer (Cathy); grandsons, Dalton Stringer, Brian Champion and Houston Stringer (Mallory); and great granddaughters, Cayleigh and June Stringer.
