Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Lane were held Friday, March 30, 2018, at 3 p.m. at Prentiss Baptist Church. Mr. Lane died on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Rev. David Mikell and Dr. French Tripp officiated.

Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Earl Parrish, Ashley Stevens, Lance Godfrey, Brock Long, Marty Roberts and Mike Jones.

Mr. Lane was born August 16, 1963, in Prentiss to William Howard Lane and Francis Polk Lane.

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and attended MTV Church in Columbus.  He was VP of the New Hope Touchdown Club and the Trojan Baseball Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Howard Lane.

Mr. Lane is survived by his wife, Allyson Lane of Columbus; his mother, Fran Lane of Prentiss; two sons, Payton Tyler Lane and Richard Parker Lane of Columbus; one daughter, Brooklyn Paige Lane of Columbus; one sister, Lisa Lane (Rob) Adams of Cooksville, Tennessee; two brothers, Mickey (Sonya) Lane of Brandon and Stephen (Kristal) Lane of Lagrange, Georgia.
