Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Kelly Burnett were held at noon Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Burnett, 82, died Friday, April 6, 2018, in Jackson. Rev. Charles Burnham officiated and burial was in the Lonestar Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jason Burnett, Travis Burnett, Danny Price, Grady Burnett, Glenn Griffith and Tommy Griffith.
Sarah Kelly Burnett was born Oct. 17, 1935, in Lonestar to Grover Kelly and Eva Hawsey Kelly. Mrs. Burnett was a file clerk in the insurance business. She was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one brother, John Kelly and two sisters, Jean Evich and Lucille Griffith.

Mrs. Burnett is survived by; two sons, Martin L. (Judy) Burnett of Brandon and Ronnie J. (Darcie) Burnett of Cotton Valley, Louisiana; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Betty Folse of Gretna, Louisiana.
