Funeral services were held July 11, 2018, at Holly Springs C.M.E. Church, Bassfield, Mississippi for Mrs. Laura Anna Graves Holloway, 60, who died July 6, 2018, at Jeff Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Rev. Dr. James Loftin officiated with interment following in Sweetwater C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Bassfield.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Laura “Pudding” Holloway was born to the late Sylvester Stubbs Sr. and Miss Lucille Graves. She was a member of Holly Springs C.M.E. Church.

Mrs. Holloway was married to John W. Holloway, to this union two children were born. She attended Bassfield High School and Jackson State University where she earned a B. S. degree in 1980. She was administrative assistant at G. W. Carver Elementary School.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille Graves; husband John Holloway; daughter, Jasmin Holloway; son, Jonathan Holloway; stepdaughter, Reshaun Holloway; step-son, John Holloway Jr.; sisters, Theresa Stubbs and Stacey (Danny) Dantzler both of Picayune; brothers, Herd Graves of Bassfield, step-brother, Sylvester Stubbs Jr. of Picayune; Shun Stubbs of North Carolina; two grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
