Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Cranford were held Aug. 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Prentiss Baptist Church. Mr. Cranford died on Aug. 7, 2018, in Prentiss. Rev. Roland McMillan and Rev. Buddy Keyes officiated.
Pallbearers were John Logan, John McGee, Jim Parkman, Rudy McNease, Randy Stamps and B.J. Berry. The honorary pallbearers were Prentiss Baptist Church Deacons and the members of the Ingram Foster Sunday School Class.
Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Curtis Cranford was born June 30, 1930, in Laurel, to Edward Jerome and Alma Tyrone Cran- ford. He was a drilling superintendent in the oil and gas industry. He was a member of Prentiss Bap- tist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one son, Tommy Cranford; two sisters, Louise Burrow and Eliza- beth King; and one broth- er, Kenneth E. Cranford.
Mr. Cranford is survived by; his wife of 69 years, Charlie Merle Cranford of Prentiss; one daughter, Charlotte (Ronald) McPhail of Hattiesburg; two grandchildren, Melissa (Keith) Braddock of Laurel and Jason McPhail of Hattiesburg; four great-grandchildren, Kye Braddock, Dawson Braddock, Colby McPhail and Hayden McKellar; and one great-great-grandchild, Charlee McKellar.
