Mr. Jeffie Smith died Aug. 12, 2018, at the Jefferson Davis County Nursing Home in Prentiss.
Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Smith was buried in the Carson Cemetery.
Jeffie Garner Smith was born Oct, 11, 1933, in Jefferson Davis County to
Clarence Hardy Smith and Gertrude Garner Smith.
Mr. Smith was a teacher in the education field. He had a Master’s Degree from William Carey University. Previously he had helped out at the Prentiss Headlight delivering papers.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Mr. Smith is survived by his friend, Brenda Delaughter of Columbia.
