Funeral services were held for Mrs. Kathy McNease at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mrs. McNease, 65, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in Poplarville. Rev. Mike Aultman officiated. Burial followed at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey Lee, Wesley Lee, Joshua Lee, Daniel Lee, Aaron Lee and John Lee.

Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McNease was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Carson, to Estus Garner and Georgia Miller Garner. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Sally Goodwin; and one niece, Gayla Goodwin.

She is survived by her husband, Barry McNease; one son, Todd McNease of Bassfield; two grandchildren, Peyton (Naomi) McNease of Bassfield and Jonathan McNease of Carson; his mother, Georgia Miller Kerley of Bassfield; three brothers, Estus (Betty) Garner of Jackson, Tom Kerley of Bassfield and James Kerley of Bassfield; three sisters, Jackie (Don) Kelly of Pearl, Judy (Norman) Creel of Southaven and Margaret “Megan” (Dale) of Carson.
