Funeral services were held Aug. 8, 2018, at Christ Temple Holiness, Oakvale, for Mr. Larry Darnell Bourne, 48, who died July 31, 2018, at his residence. Rev. Maxie Lowe officiated with burial following in the church cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Larry Bourne was born to the late Preston White Jr. and Ruth Taylor Bourne. He was a member of Christ Temple Holiness Church where he was a member of the choir. He attended school at Prent- iss High School where he played football. He later attended Pearl River Ju- nior College and started driving trucks until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by brother, Raleigh Bourne and daughter, Jasmine Pittman.

He is survived by three brothers, Danny Bourne of Kenosha, Wisconsin, George Bourne of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Frederic Bourn of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Kimberly (Marcus) Johnson of Bartlett, Tennessee and Arneetria (Willie) Brown of Petal; stepmother, Mittae White of Prentiss; and many other relatives and friends.
