Wiley Coulter (1943- 2018) grew up in the Granby Community and spent much of his time as a young man working on his parents’ farm.
He graduated from Prentiss High School, where he played tuba in the varsity band and he went on to study at Mis- sissippi College.
Wiley spent his career as the owner of Coulter’s Cleaners, but he was a man of many skills who worked as an electrician, volunteer firefighter, car- penter, mechanic, busi- nessman and gunsmith.
Whatever he did, he did it tirelessly, giving all those around him an ex- ample of hard work, dedication and resilience.
Wiley was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wiley Henry and Willie Mae Coulter; and his oldest daughter, Teresa.
He is survived by Betty, his wife of 54 years; his children, Harrell, Dawn, and Stacey; daughters- in-law Bridgett Coulter and Julie Phillips; son-in- law Reuben Harvey; his grandchildren, Cheyenne and Kayla Coulter, Symon Kellum, and Jackson Har- vey; and his great-grand- son, Calvin McKnight.
Wiley liked to share his knowledge with others, whether it was about guns, carpentry, or cars.
Regardless of the topic, he liked visiting around town. He was much ad- mired and deeply loved by family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
