The Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s Depart- ment is looking for an inmate that escaped early Monday morning.

According to authori- ties, William (B.J.) Bayse and Belton Sims escaped sometime after midnight.

Once it was discovered they were missing, au- thorities began searching in the area.

Sims came walking up into the alley behind the Sheriff’s department and

was immediately taken a local law enforcement back into custody. agency or the JDC Sher- Sims was arrested in iff’s Department at 601-792-5169.
