Funeral services were held Nov. 17, 2018, at New Zion M. B. Church in Oakvale for Mrs. An- nie Jean Jackson, 70, who died Nov. 10, 2018, at her residence.

Rev. Jeffrey Magee, pastor, officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Annie Jean Jackson was born to the late Horace and Jessie Buckley She left Mississippi when she was seventeen to live in New Orleans, Louisiana where she worked in various health- care positions.

After retirement, she moved back to Oakvale. She was a member of Palestine M. B. Church, Oakvale.

She was preceded in death by six siblings, Horace Buckley Jr., Robert Buckley, Willie C. Buckley, Wardell H. Buckley, Rose Jackson, Timmie Buckley and grandson, Gregory Jackson Jr.

She is survived by four children, Willie Jackson of Oakvale; Aretha Jackson of Lithonia, Georgia, Gregory Jackson Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Clarence Jackson of Angola, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Gregory Williams, Erinetta Jackson and Jaikai Brown; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Artis (Ollie) Buckley Sr. of Westwego, Louisiana; many other relatives and friends.
