Funeral services were held Nov. 3, 2018, at James Chapel M. B. Church, Pinola, for Mrs. Maggie Lee Johnson, 76, who died Oct. 24, 2018, at Magee General Hospital, Magee.

Elder Adell Brown officiated with burial following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Maggie Lee Johnson was born to the late Leslie and Mamie John- son in Simpson County. She was preceded in death by: three brothers, L. V. Johnson, Leslie Johnson and Carl Johnson; four sisters, Elle R. McDougle, Dessie R. Feazell, Willie B. Johnson and Mary H. Brown.

She is survived by: four children, Eddie (Kimberly) Williams, Sandra Howard, Veronica (Shawn) James and Teresa (Lonzell) Jackson; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Bobbie May, Betty Younger, Nealie M. Johnson, Carolyn Brown and Jewel (George) Brown; one brother, Bernell (Terry) Johnson and many other relatives and friends.
