Funeral services were held Nov. 1, 2018, at Mt. Zion M. B. Church for Mrs. Nancy Myrle Lewis Hartzog, 69, who died Oct. 24, 2018, at her residence.

Rev. Jesse Holloway officiated with burial following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Nancy Hartzog was born to the late T. J. Lewis and Florence Jones in Prentiss. She attended Johnson Elementary and High School.

She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church where she was a member of the Senior Choir, Pastor Aide, and Home Mission.

Mrs. Hartzog was employed with Magnetek for 28 years and Jeff Davis Community Hospital for 13 years where she retired.

She was married to the late Ellis Jewel Hartzog and to this union two chil- dren were born.

She was preceded in death by: siblings, Maxine Coleman, Charles Mikell, Samuel Hooker, Dennis Jones, Kenneth Jones and Curtis Jones; and friend, Edna Brister.

She is survived by: children, Alisa Hartzog and Anthony J. Hartzog both of Prentiss; stepson, Johnny V. (Stacey) Donaldson of Clinton; sister (whom she raised as a daughter), Bo- nita (Lester) Jones-Walker of Prentiss; grandchildren, Sheekela White of Laurel, Christel (Ronald) Tate, Camaryn Donaldson and Cailyn Donaldson all of Clinton; siblings, Jerry (Cecile) Lewis of Detroit, Michigan, Cathy Johnson of Gulfport, and Mary F. Bullock of Prentiss; godson, James Holloway of Prentiss; goddaughter,

Renordia Worris of Brandon; special friends, Shirley Washington, Arlena Funches, Tony Sands and Alice Hawthorne.
