Funeral services were held Nov. 11, 2018, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Tyree James Bowen, 36, who died Oct. 30, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Burial followed in the Bowen Family Cemetery, Prentiss. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tyree Bowen was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Mrs. Abeba Bowen-Moody. He spent most of his life in Germa- ny and Japan. He gradu- ated from high school in Japan.

He is survived by: mother, Abeba Bowen- Moody of Chicago, Illinois; grandmother, Charlene Browning of Prentiss; daughter, Amree Self of Louisiana; brother, Patrick Brown of Jackson; and many other relatives and friends.
