Funeral services were held Dec. 8, 2018, at Mt. Zion M. B. Church for Mr. Willie C. White, 81, who died Nov. 30, 2018, at his residence. Rev. Ozell White, pastor, officiated with burial following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

Mr. Willie C. White was born to the late Dan and Lunnie Johnson White in Prentiss. He attended Mt. Zion Vocational School and lived in the Mt. Zion community all of his life. He worked in construc- tion in Jackson.

He is survived by: brother, Bob White of Buffalo, New York: sister, Veola White of Minneapolis, Minnesota; companion, Margie Hall and her children, Bobby, Melissa, Brooks, Caroline, Shalexus and Louise; and many other relatives and friends.
