Funeral services for Mr. Zain Statham were held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at the New Chapel United Pentecostal Church in Collins. Mr. Statham, 20, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, in Hattiesburg. Rev. Ken Hickman officiated.

Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrange- ments.

Pallbearers were Spenser Hayes, Taylor Barrett, Jon Johnson, Michael Johnson, Brennan Knuckles and Bailey Knuckles.

Zain Statham was born Nov. 9, 1998, in Hattiesburg. He was a carpenter for Piccadilly Restaurants. He was a member of New Chapel United Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Statham and great-grandfather, Alton Saulters.

Statham is survived by his parents, Sonny and Liz Saulters of Prentiss; his mother, Melissa Herrington of Bassfield; his father, Brian Statham of Kokomo; two sisters, Zoie Harrington and Chelsea Saulters of Prentiss; one brother, Evan Thornhill of Kokomo; grandparents, Rhonda Hagan of Prentiss, Rita Statham of Kokomo, Danny Jones of Prentiss and great-grandmother, Elsie Saulters of Prentiss.
