Memorial services were held Jan. 30, 2019, at Johnson Funeral Home
Chapel in Prentiss for Mrs. Gladys Marie Peyton Magee, 62, who died
Jan. 21, 2019, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Johnson Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gladys Mage was the youngest of eight children born to the late
John and Ollie Peyton. She was married to Mr. Willie Magee.
Mrs. Magee was the mother of four sons, one of which preceded her in
death, Douglas.
She is survived by husband, Willie Magee; three sons, Marion,
Christopher and Adrian; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Florine and
Ollie; four brothers, Johnnie, Jerry, Ralph and Nathaniel; one uncle,
Curtis Brown; many other relatives and friends.
