Funeral services were held May 4, 2019, at Prentiss First Baptist
Church for Mrs. Barbara Ann Rhodes Durr, 64, who died April 25, 2019,
at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Rev. Ronnie Barnes, pastor,
officiated with interment following in the Durr Cemetery. Johnson
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barbara Durr was the daughter of the late John Norwood and Annie
Jane Rhodes.  She was a member of Green Grove M. B. Church.
Mrs. Durr worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant until her health failed.
She is survived by: two daughters, Lakita and Konswaylo Durr both of
Hattiesburg; brothers, Carlwell Norwood of California and Johnnie
Norwood of Prentiss and Charles Norwood of Los Angeles, California;
sister, Linda Hooker of California; two grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
