Funeral services for Mr. Calvin Garner were held at 10 a.m.  May 28,
2019, at the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Garner, 69, passed away
on May 26, 2019, at Merit Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg.  Reverend
Charles Burnham officiated and interment was in the Whitesand
Cemetery.
Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Lance Garner, Clay Garner, Ray Raybon, David
Fortenberry, David Lee, Joe Bridges, Colby Stewart and Tommy Breland.
Earnest Calvin Garner was born on Feb. 13, 1950, in Prentiss,  to Ezra
Lee Garner and Mary Lou McNease Garner.  Mr. Garner was a retired
maintenance foreman for Mississippi Department of Transportation.  He
was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one brother, Gary Garner.
Mr. Garner is survived by one brother, Billy Garner (Mary Lou); one
niece; four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was May 28, 2019, from 9-10 a.m. at Saulters Funeral Home.
