Funeral services for Mrs. Carlene Kyzar McNease were held at 11 a.m.
May 31, 2019, at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mrs. McNease, 92 passed away
on May 28, 2019,  at Marion General Hospital in Columbia.
Rev. Mike Aultman and Rev. Daniel Lee  officiated and interment in the
Ebenezer Cemetery.
Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Jeffrey Lee, Wesley Lee, Bobby McNease, Jonathan
Culpepper, Marty Raybourn, Peyton McNease, Rickey Hall III, Aaron Lee
and John Lee.
Carlene Kyzar McNease was born on Oct. 6, 1926, in Columbia, to Carl
Kyzar and Effie Moody Kyzar.  She attended Draughns Business School
for two years.
She and Johnnie Reece McNease were married and had four children.
Mrs. McNease was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband,
Johnnie McNease; daughter, Alicia Kaye Dyess; daughter-in-law, Kathy
McNease and great, great grandson, Isaiah Lee.
Mrs. McNease is survived by one daughter, Janet Lee of Bassfield; two
sons, Barry McNease of Bassfield and Doug McNease (Barbara) of Purvis;
one brother, Milton Kyzar of Morgantown; one sister, Sadie Petty of
Improve; a son-in-law, Devin Dyess; 10 grandchildren and a number of
great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was May 31, 2019, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
